What to Expect During Your Inpatient Rehabilitation Stay

Our inpatient post-acute neurorehabilitation program combines intensive therapy, advanced rehabilitation technology, rehabilitation nursing, physician oversight, and individualized treatment planning to help patients achieve their highest possible level of recovery.
Throughout your stay, our team will work closely with you and your family to develop a rehabilitation plan tailored to your needs, abilities, and goals.
Your Rehabilitation Program
Each rehabilitation program is individualized based on your diagnosis, medical condition, functional abilities, and treatment goals.
Patients may participate in:
- Physical Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Rehabilitation Nursing

- Activities of daily living training

Patients must be able to participate in intensive rehabilitation programs from three to five hours of therapy per day, five days per week, depending on their individual needs and tolerance.

A Typical Day at Neuro Robotics Rehab Center
While every patient’s schedule is individualized, a typical day may include:
Morning
Your day typically begins with assistance from nursing staff as needed, including medications, morning care, dressing, and preparation for therapy.
Breakfast is served in the dining room, with meals developed according to physician and dietary recommendations.
Therapy sessions generally begin during the morning hours. Your individualized therapy schedule will be provided and updated regularly.
Mid-Day
Lunch is served in the dining room.
Therapy sessions continue throughout the afternoon with scheduled breaks and rest periods incorporated into your treatment plan.
During the day, nursing staff remain available to provide medications, support, monitoring, and assistance as needed.
Evening
Dinner is served in the dining room.
Patients often use evening hours for rest, family visits, social interaction, and preparation for the following day.
Nursing staff are available to assist with evening care, medications, hygiene, and bedtime routines.
Rehabilitation Nursing Support
Our inpatient program includes 24-hour rehabilitation nursing support.
Rehabilitation nurses play an important role in helping patients safely navigate the recovery process while reinforcing therapy goals throughout the day.
Nursing services may include:
- Medication administration
- Health monitoring
- Assistance with daily activities
- Patient education
- Coordination with the rehabilitation team
- Support for ongoing recovery goals
Dining and Social Interaction
Meals are an important part of rehabilitation.
Patients are encouraged to dine in our communal dining area whenever possible. Dining with others provides opportunities for social interaction, independence, communication practice, and participation in daily life activities.
Family members and loved ones are welcome to join patients for meals when appropriate.
Dining Hours
Breakfast: 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM
Lunch: 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Dinner: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Dining schedules may occasionally vary based on patient needs and facility operations.
Family and Caregiver Involvement
We believe family members and caregivers play a critical role in successful rehabilitation.
Family participation is encouraged throughout the rehabilitation process and may include:

To help make your stay comfortable, please bring essential personal items such as:

- Athletic shoes with non-slip soles

- CPAP or BiPAP equipment if used at home
- Personal toiletries and grooming items
- A light sweater or jacket
- Advance directives, living wills, or power of attorney documentation if available
